C Bus Lighting System

How Wireless works
C-Bus Wireless is a Networked Control and Management System that provides an ideal solution for retrofitting Clipsal C-Bus technology into existing electrical installations. The C-Bus Wireless System uses air-born, Radio Frequency signals to communicate between units, therefore no data cable is required to enable C-Bus communication. C-Bus Wireless uses distributed intelligent control nodes and 128 bit encrypted two-way communications. C-Bus Wireless units work seamlessly with wired (twisted pair) C-Bus installations and support all current C-Bus key unit features and micro-functions.

Replace 240V switches with C-Bus Wireless Wall Plates
C-Bus Wireless Wall Plates allow existing, standard 240V wall switches to be replaced directly with a wall plate containing C-Bus Wireless technology. These are able to communicate with other C-Bus Wireless devices using Radio Frequency Wireless messaging and form a C-Bus Wireless Network. The wall plates are Two-wire devices (240V active and load), with no neutral connection required, enabling the wall plates to be installed without any changes to the existing mains wiring at a wall switch. Each switch can be programmed to function as an on/off switch, a dimmer or to issue a scene, as well as a number of other options.

Add appliances to the network with Wireless Plug Adaptors
C-Bus Wireless Plug Adaptors allow devices normally plugged into 240V General Purpose Outlets (for example, lounge or bedside lamps) to be controlled using C-Bus Wireless technology. C-Bus Wireless Plug Adaptors are able to communicate with other C-Bus Wireless devices (such as Wall Plates) using Radio Frequency Wireless messaging and form a C-Bus Wireless Network – no additions or alterations to existing wiring is required. C-Bus Wireless Plug Adaptors are available in Leading Edge Dimming and Trailing Edge Dimming Units, as well as a Relay output version.

C-Bus Wireless Gateway – Wireless meets hardwired automation
The C-Bus Wireless Gateway allows seamless communication between a wired C-Bus network and a C-Bus Wireless Network. The unit is powered from the Category Five wired C-Bus network via an RJ45 connection and can be desktop or wall mounted.

C-Bus Wireless Hand Held Remote – What every automation system needs
The C-Bus Wireless Remote allows access to a C-Bus Wireless network from a walk-around, hand-held unit. The remote features five programmable function buttons (plus a shift button, providing five more programmable functions), allowing C-Bus Wireless groups and scenes to be controlled via the remote. › The unit additionally features up/down, an all off button, an LCD display, blue LED backlighting, plus the ability to label each function button to suit individual requirements.
